Well the so-called Summer Holidays are here, even though there seems to be a shortage of Summer weather again this year! Nevermind, despite the rain there is still lots of things that you can do to while away the holidays in North Yorkshire. Recently we went to The Forbidden Corner, at Coverham near Middleham. I hadn't been for years, but it was absolutely great fun! We took our two year old neice who was a little scared at numerous occassions but all the adults thought it was a fab day out. So check out their website if you're in the area for a thoroughly recommended day out.
For those of you who haven't sorted out a holiday yet and are looking for a break in the Yorkshire Dales, then may i suggest Country Hideaways which has a lovely selection of country cottages to choose from in the Dales. Our local area has loads to offer and i'm sure that you will have a great visit - no matter what the weather is like!
And then to Bah Humbugs! We've been having a busy Summer with so many people choosing to holiday in the UK this year. Our Ice Cream from Brymor is selling as well as ever, and we've noticed a big surge in the sale of our Fudges recently. We figure this is because people are buying the fudges to take home to friends and family.
